Emails that say what actually happens

  • Email
  • Keywords
  • Auth

An email that tells you the wrong thing is worse than one we never sent. Two of ours did exactly that, and three were going out with no footer to say who we are or how to unsubscribe. This release corrects what we send you, and sharpens the competitor keywords you get at setup.

Your trial warning was wrong about your data

It said you would lose your data when your trial ended. You will not. When a trial expires, your subscription moves to expired and your retention window drops to 30 days. Nothing is deleted that day.

The email now says exactly that, and it reads the window from the same value the product enforces, so the two cannot drift apart again.

Your welcome email and both alert emails were going out with no privacy policy, no terms and no postal address, while still carrying an unsubscribe header. The footer was written to depend on an address the sender never handed it. It no longer depends on anything.

Competitors we looked up, not ones we remembered

When you set up a workspace, we suggest competitor keywords for you. Those suggestions used to come from what the model already knew. They now begin with a live web search, and they anchor on your description rather than your company name. If you are called Railway, you get deployment platforms instead of trains.

The research runs as its own step, so a failed search costs you the notes rather than the whole suggestion. You still get competitors picked from your company details.

  • Email Retention is stated in months, matching the pricing page, rather than as 730 days
  • Email Alert subjects lead with the platform, so you can triage one before you open it
  • Email The trial length in your welcome email reads from the trial you were actually given
  • Auth One name for the code we email you, where the flow had been using three

  • Billing The mention cap email no longer offers AI sentiment analysis as a reason to upgrade, since every plan including trial already has it
  • Email The welcome email greets you by name, falls back to your address, and drops the greeting entirely rather than calling you "there"
  • Auth The resend button said "Resend link" when what it sends is a code
  • Auth The link beside it offered to log you in while you were already logging in
  • Accessibility Secondary text on the auth pages meets the 4.5:1 contrast minimum
